Piles/hemorrhoids

Piles or hemorrhoids are swollen (or varicose) veins in the lining of the anus. The varicosity may be just above the anal canal, causing internal hemorrhoids or at the lower end of the canal causing external hemorrhoids. The latter may even protrude outside the anus. Piles are caused by increased pressure on the veins of the anus.
Symptoms are pain and bleeding during bowl movement or soreness and itching around the anus or possibly a mucus discharge from external hemorrhoids.

Aromatherapy:

Apply a local compress of astringent essential oils of cypress, framkincense, lavender.
